Each piece is handcrafted by our talented artisans in the tiny town of Usiacuri. Please note colours may vary slightly from the image as each piece is dyed by hand. However, all placemats will always come as a matching set.
Hand woven by the women by the women of Usiacuri. Tucked away in the hills near Barranquilla, Usiacurí is one of the most peaceful towns in the country. Both men and women have been working with iraca palm for generations and if you peer through the windows daughters, mothers and grandmothers can be seen weaving through the heat of the day. Originally, the palm was sourced from the local grasslands but due to changes in climate it is now bought from Bolivar to be washed, dyed, dried, and cut to size.

Product care: Clean with a humid cloth. Store out of direct sunlight as this can cause fading to the natural dyes.
